The Brunel Engineering Two sided tape applicator can be configured in two ways, to accept either 300mm diameter Tape Reels or as a Bobbin fed machine.
The machine can feed both Fingerlift and Edge-to-Edge Tapes as well as 4mm Tear (Rippa) Tapes at linear speeds up to approx 40m/min.
Standard guides are included for 12, 18, and 24mm tape widths. Other guide sizes available on request.
The machine uses a small motor to generate slack which enhances the Start / Stop position of the Tape and is controlled by its own logic relay device.
An External Pattern Controller is required to be connected, which can have a control voltage of 3-32Vdc
The machine can be supplied in full version, complete with Pattern controller, Encoder, Photocell and Tape machine.
Or as the Tape Machine only. This is useful for 2nd machines driven from the same Pattern Control System.
Two machines can be used side-by-side for twin tape lines, minimum distance between being approx 140mm. For access reasons, it is preferred to have twin machines mounted with one downstream of the other.
We also have a Bobbin supplied version. Bobbins have greater tape capacity, typically 5km, which means less machine stops to change reels
A transport (conveyor) is required, ideally a vacuum type. We would be pleased to quote you one of our own Vacuum Conveyors from our range.
Other tape types can sometimes be successfully used on our tape machine, eg Magic tape. We would be pleased to trial your particular tape type.

We also stock and supply double sided adhesive tape in 300mm diameter rolls (up to approx 500mtrs) suitable for use on our tape machines.
