How the Side Seam Glueing Machine Works

The operating process is simple, efficient and highly repeatable:

1. The operator manually places the corrugated box into the conveyor infeed.

2. The conveyor automatically transports the box through the machine.

3. A precisely controlled bead of hot melt adhesive is applied to the side seam.

4. The glue flap is automatically folded into position.

5. The box passes through a compression section to ensure a strong, secure bond before being discharged onto the catch tray or optional outfeed conveyor.

This controlled process ensures every box is accurately glued and consistently finished.
